Happy (early) 4th July to my American friends! We were fortunate to celebrate two July 4th whilst living in America, the first was much more eventful than the last that’s for sure. I do appreciate how patriotic they are and are ALWAYS up for a theme to decorate their house. I will miss not seeing the fireworks, eating burgers, and drinking a margarita. And now being in lockdown it’s even more important to find the simple joys in life, Here are the things bringing me joy this week!
Burgers & Hot Dogs
Man, I love a good American Hot Dog. I craved them when I was pregnant with Coco, and I definitely ate my fair share when we were living in Florida. Now my sister found these awesome Burger and Hot Dog kits from Vic’s Meats which deliver!
Cherry Cocktails
Getting more into the 4th July spirit with this Cherry Lemonade Cocktail, or Mocktail. You can’t stop at one – believe me!
Cushions, cushions, cushions
I really think you can never have enough cushions. Yes, they’re annoying to take off the bed but they look so pretty and neat sitting on the bed. I just discovered this Australian business called Hommey which has a huge range of colourful cushions in different shapes and fabrics.
Comfy loungewear
Having now gone into another lockdown, the loungewear has been coming out in force! I just ordered this cute set from Cotton On in their sale. Really I don’t need another tie-dye something but this is just so cute.
Beautiful dresses for post lockdown
Now all I want to do is go OUT. It’s been soooo long. I had a Mum’s night out booked which hopefully will go ahead and if so, I will definitely be wearing this beautiful new navy dress I just bought from my beautiful friend’s new label Tendresse Studio.
