Mulled Wine

A cold night, a cosy couch and a glass of warm Mulled Wine… is there anything better?! It also reminds me of the times (3 times) I went skiing and my favourite part of the activity was the apres ski sessions. It’s also delicious cold.

MULLED WINE

A bottle of red wine
1 orange, sliced into rounds, plus more for garnish
6 whole cloves
3 cinnamon sticks, plus more for garnish
3 star anise
1/4 cup honey 
1/2 cup brandy

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients. Bring to a simmer not a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer gently over low heat for 10 minutes. 

Serve warm and garnish with more citrus slices and cinnamon sticks.

Now just TRY and stop at one glass.
