Ahh the toddler bedtime routine… filled with every procrastination tactic under the sun. If she had her way we would read 82790 books before bed, but now she knows to pick 3 books and that’s it. Coco has so many wonderful books (they really make the best gifts for babies and kids). Of course she has most of the classic books that should be a staple on every bookshelf, as well as every Bluey book under the sun. I love the Little People, Big Dreams series. We actually received about 6(!) Coco Chanel books when she was born… so we always have a back up if one gets damaged from too much reading.
These are her current go-to books that we read. on. repeat.
Thelma the Unicorn (A personal favourite!)
Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy – a new addition that she now knows off by heart!
No one likes a Fart – she thinks this is HIL-AR-I-OUS
Coco Chanel – for obvious reasons
Hedgehugs – this was given to us by a friend in the USA and it’s one of my favourites to read too
The Very Lonely Firefly – wait for the surprise at the end
Dolly Parton – The Little People, Big Dreams books are the best
Where is the Green sheep? – Another personal favourite
Mum’s the Best by Bluey and Bingo – I may encourage her to read this one frequently…
