I know we don’t really get into everything Halloween here in Australia, but it’s so fun to create things in the theme. I saw these super cute bats all over pinterest and so I decided to make a version of my own.
You’ll need
– Mini Reeces Cups
– Oreos (full sized or mini ones like I did)
– Eyes
I couldn’t find any candy eyes fast enough as my local Woolworths didn’t stock them so instead I bought some Caramilk chips because – ummm – CARAMILK!
The original recipes say to use the thin Oreos but again, they didn’t have them at my local Woolies so I just used the mini oreos to make them even cuter.
Simply carefully split the Oreos and cut the cream side in half then stick them onto the Reeces cup. Then I just some black icing to help the Caramilks stick, but you could also melt a little chocolate too. Then I used the black icing to create the ‘eye’s and that’s it. You’re done!!!
Maybe they’re not AS perfect as the original but surely the added Caramilk is worth it!
