Our go-to Guacamole

When I say we ate this at least once a week whilst living in Florida, I am not lying. Given that Avo’s were so cheap and seemingly always in season. Our US friends taught us this simple recipe for Guac which is now our go-to, and it’s so easy. The hard part is getting the ripe Avocados.

4 ripe Avocados
Sour Cream
Olive Oil
Garlic Powder

Scoop out the Avocados into a bowl, add around 2 tbs sour cream, a drizzle of olive oil and a decent shake of garlic powder. Then mix. It’s really a matter of adding more garlic or sour cream until you reach the flavour that you like.

Serve with your favourite corn chips and of course a few Margaritas.

You do need to eat it all at once which is not hard. You can keep it but it’s really not as nice the next day.
