I love Christmas and would celebrate all year round if it was socially acceptable. So, when Harris Scarfe asked me to create a Christmas in July table with their Chyka Home collection I absolutely said YES! I decided to go with a traditional colour theme but with a twist using their gorgeous dark green pieces but with a pop of pink.
We always have a family-style Christmas lunch, so the Vegetable pattern serving platters and bowls were the perfect vessel for displaying and serving the food on the table.
The dark green linen napkins are one of my favourite pieces, they’re soft and extra-large which means you can create so many different looks with them and use them again for non-Christmas entertaining.

When working out a menu, because it’s Winter in Australia it’s much more enjoyable to have some warm, comfort food options that also uses in season produce.
Christmas in July food ideas:
Crispy Potatoes // Roast Pork // Apple cider glazed ham // Winter Panzanella // Warm Cauliflower Salad // Rosemary Lemon Chicken // Honey Roasted Carrots
Christmas in July drink ideas:
Hazelnut egg nog // Mulled Wine // Winter Cranberry Fizz // Christmas Martini

I made the bow napkins by following this tutorial. I did some DIY on the napkin holders and covered some used paper towel rolls in velvet ribbon. It’s so easy!

To create the table baubles, I simply had some clear baubles in storage and I filled them with fresh babies’ breath and added a mix of ribbons in the same pink colour tones as the pink tumbler glasses.
I selected all of the items below from Harris Scarfe and they were kindly gifted to me to create this Christmas in July table. You too can create the look using the items below. Happy Shopping!
