Hospital toiletries bag prep

With the countdown really on, I have started the process or putting bits and bobs into my hospital bag and toiletries bag so there is not a last minute rush – and more importantly, I do not want to forget my eye mask and lip balm!

I feel like this time around I will be much more organised and as there are no visitors allowed I will have a lot of ‘me & baby time’ so I will HOPEFULLY be able to throw on a sheet mask at least once during my stay.

This is what I will be including

  • Under eye gel masks. I love the James Cosmetics ones
  • Lip Balm
  • Back up Lip Balm incase I misplace the first
  • Omnilux LED Mask
  • Mini skincare set
  • Nice body wash (that first shower is a dream)
  • Mustela Baby Wash and cream for the little man – there is no other smell like it
  • Mustela Nursing Comfort Balm – I will probably need a large tub of this!

I am actually starting to use the Mustela Nursing Balm now in preparation of feeing. No-one ever really prepares you for how difficult and painful it can be. With Coco I waited far too long to see a lactation specialist and was in incredible pain for over 2 months so this time around I know what to expect and am getting the area ready now!

I have super sensitive skin so this Mustela Balm is perfect as it has no added fragrance, 100% plant-based ingredients and the key ingredient is Olive Oil which I am sure my half greek baby will love! Anything to make the feeding journey more pleasant for bub and Mum.

You can purchase the Mustela range at Chemist Warehouse, Priceline and French Beauty Co.
